28 The Alternate Side George takes a job moving cars across the street; Elaine cares for her 66-year-old boyfriend; Kramer popularizes a line.
29 The Red Dot Elaine finds George a job at a publishing company; he repays her with a damaged gift; Jerry reintroduces Elaine's boyfriend to liquor.
30 The Subway Each of the four principal characters has a unique experience on the subway system.
31 The Pez Dispenser Jerry's Pez dispenser causes a scene at a piano recital by George's girlfriend; Kramer creates a cologne.
32 The Suicide After a neighbor attempts suicide, Jerry visits him at the hospital and becomes attracted to the girlfriend; Elaine develops a ravenous appetite after fasting for a medical exam.
33 The Fix Up Jerry and Elaine set George up on a blind date; Kramer gives George a defective condom.
34 The Boyfriend, Part 1 Jerry befriends Keith Hernandez at the gym; Kramer recounts an incident in which Newman and he were spat on during a New York Mets game.
35 The Boyfriend, Part 2 Jerry becomes jealous when Keith Hernandez begins dating Elaine. George comes up with a scheme to collect unemployment. The spitting incident is revisited, and a "second spitter" theory, à la Kennedy assassination is discussed.
36 The Limo Jerry and George board a limousine intended for other passengers. They invite Kramer and Elaine to join them but later learn that the intended riders were neo-Nazis, for whom they have been mistaken.
37 The Good Samaritan Jerry trails a hit-and-run driver but is attracted to her and begins dating her; he later learns her victim was a longtime quarry and dates the latter as well. Kramer begins having seizures whenever he hears Mary Hart's voice.
38 The Letter Jerry learns that his new artist friend [played by Catherine Keener], from whom George has been forced to buy a painting, plagiarized a letter to keep him from breaking up with her. Elaine refuses to remove her Baltimore Orioles cap during a New York Yankees game.
39 The Parking Space George and another of Kramer's friends face off over a parking space.
40 The Keys Becoming annoyed at Kramer's invasions of privacy, Jerry takes away his spare key. Kramer, shaken, decides to leave for California to pursue an acting career. As George, Elaine, and Jerry exchange spare key privileges, Jerry and George learn that Elaine is secretly writing a Murphy Brown script; Kramer, later, is hired to play Brown's secretary.
