Creating a Self-Signed Certificate for Local Development Use

Procedure¶

(1) Command Line: MMC

(2) File > Add/Remove Snap-In > Certificates

(3) Search for "localhost" and remove any expired certificates

(4) Windows Control Panel > Internet Options > Contents tab > Clear SSL State button

(5) Command Line: dotnet dev-certs https --trust
